• Lower rank numbers are better: No. 1 is above No. 20.
• Gameplay is based on rank position, while each reveal also shows the team's FIBA points.
• Since November 2025, FIBA has used a per-game system with region, competition-stage, opponent, away, and margin-of-victory factors.

The rank is ordinal; the points explain how far apart two nearby teams really are.
